Built as a dancehall for the Zoot Suit community in the 1940’s in the Pico Union neighborhood this 10,000 square foot oak floor is finally getting the renovation it deserves. We are lovingly replacing the windows and skylights, installing an entirely new electrical system, refurbishing the bathrooms and building out 30 beautiful new artists studios. New color corrected LED lighting in each studio, strong wifi, sink for paints and plaster. Shared kitchen and bathrooms, Freight elevator.

We have several small studios that rent for $650 per month including utilities, and a few much larger ones that rent for $1,200 per month. Call or DM to book a walk through tour.

We are located on the North East corner of Venice Boulevarde and Valencia Street, just a few blocks west of the convention center.

We are very chuffed to announce our new artists studio complex: West Coast Fulfillment Center! 22,000 square feet of sun splashed, oak floored artist work space. Construction has begun and we are taking reservations for studios from 250 to 2,500 square feet.

Located downtown, a few blocks from the convention center and L.A. Live on Venice Boulevard and Valencia Street. There is ample street parking and space for a few cars in our large loading dock.

Yesterday we put down the second coat of urethane on the 10,00 sq ft oak floor and it looks amazing!!!

We will have several studios available now starting at $450 per month and we can build out for custom sizes. Our second floor studios all have to oak floors and most have natural light. On the ground floor we have carpeted office spaces perfect for digital creators as well as industrial studios with concrete floors. We offer extensive access to tools and membership at our Risso printing workshop and chemical photo darkroom!

This year celebrate the 25th anniversary of our very first studio complex: The Toole Shed Studios on Toole Avenue in Tucson. Originally the headquarters for the Arizona Messenger Co. We rented the long empty 11,000 sq ft building from the department of transportation and created 14 artists studios, a gallery space, large format mural darkroom, holography facilities and shared event/project space. From the very first month the Toole Shed Studios was a hit and ran in the Black while providing the lowest priced rent of any Studio complex in Tucson.
